At Quebrada, Challah, Cardamom and Irish Soda Breads are customer favorites. We bake Plain, Poppy, Sesame, and Raisin Braided Challah, and a plain Challah loaf, all especially popular around the holidays. Our Cinnamon Bread loaf is also made from fresh challah bread dough, with just the right sweetness for toast or snacks.
Quebrada™ Cardamom coffee bread loaf is a slightly-sweet bread (not a coffee cake) with Swedish origins. Some of our customers enjoy it plain or toasted for breakfast on the weekends, while still others love it as a simple and satisfying dessert. It’s baked fresh every Friday morning.
Our moist and slightly sweet Irish Soda Bread is made fresh on Wednesdays with dark & golden raisins and caraway seeds. Its taste and texture is very similar to scones.
We also offer nicely textured white sandwich bread, and a 100% whole-wheat bread. Both make awesome grilled cheese and PB & J’s, and also are wonderful for morning toast.
Our white breads are made with unbleached, un-bromated flour. We’ll happily slice your bread
while you’re in the bakery or take it home to hand-slice.
As is with all Quebrada products, we use no preservatives in our bread. It’s bakery fresh and
begs to be enjoyed promptly.
