It’s almost time! All of us at Quebrada are so happy that our fourth location is almost ready to open this April. Our new retro-style neighborhood bakery will be joining a thriving foodie scene in Watertown. We’ve come a long way since our mother, Kay, first opened Quebrada Baking Company in 1977, and we are so excited to see this amazing spot open its doors – it’s been a long time coming!

In the spirit of our new home in Watertown, we’re exploring some of our favorite foodie finds in the city. Check out our list below!

Exploring our new home in Watertown

Watertown is full of infamous spots AND little hidden gems! As “out-of-towners” we’ve truly enjoyed exploring the area around our new location – and know YOU will too! Here are some of our favorite spots:

1. Ritcey East

Ritcey East is a lovely, homey little spot that opened back in 2017. Owner Max Ritcey came from a restaurant family - their parents owned Ritcey’s Seafood kitchen in Waltham. As a tribute to Max’s parents, Ritcey East was born. This spot sources local ingredients as much as possible when making their delicious comfort food. Try their vegan chicken cutlet!

Watertown’s Super Fusion Cuisine Sushi is all about Japanese casual dining. This informal sushi bar and teriyaki house offers unique flavors and artistry in all their meals. Don’t miss out on their amazing fusion rolls.

7. Celebrity Pizza

Celebrity Pizza is a longtime ice cream parlor and Italian restaurant. We love their unfussy, retro interior and they toss a mean pizza, made fresh with delicious ingredients. Make sure to taste their fried seafood as well!

Those are just a few of the many wonderful local businesses in the Watertown area! We’re so excited to join the Watertown neighborhood, and we’re looking forward to welcoming all of you into our new bakery.
