No one really knows when coffee was first discovered, though it is believed to have been first discovered in Ethiopia. The coffee bean traveled the world for centuries, smuggled in and out of countries with strict regimes, traded and stolen again and again. In the 17th century, the coffee bean found its way to the European continent. Coffee houses quickly became the centers of social activity in many countries, from Austria to England. It even began to replace the common breakfast drink of the era - beer and wine. Drinkers began to notice coffee’s effects: increased productivity throughout the day and long-lasting energy.

It’s no wonder this delicious hot drink stole the hearts of so many people around the world! Over the years, studies have shown that coffee has numerous health benefits (as if you needed another reason to drink coffee!). We’ve been partnering with Fazenda for many years. These local coffee roasters in Massachusetts have experts on hand that help us create and serve only the best coffees in town. Plus, we get barista training and hands-on learning from them, as well, to ensure your coffee tastes amazing each and every time. 

We have regular coffee as well as Hazelnut coffee, which is a great alternative when you want to add a little extra flavor to your day. Some of our customers will also mix coffees together to add an extra spark!

Dancing Goats 

Dancing Goats Coffee is one of the most popular coffees we serve and sell! This coffee comes from Atlanta, Georgia, and Olympia, Washington. Our favorite thing about this brew? The name!

There’s a whole legend behind Dancing Goats Coffee as well…

Coffee was first discovered during the 9th century in Abyssinia, which is now Ethiopia. According to legend, the area's remote highlands were home to a goatherd named Kaldi. One day he noticed his goats dancing and prancing after eating the small red fruit of a nearby shrub. Not wishing to be left out of the fun, Kaldi ate the coffee cherries and soon he was dancing with his goats.

When ordering your fresh Joe-To-Go Coffee Box, make sure to call in and let us know 30 minutes in advance. This will ensure that our team will have enough time to prep your Joe-To-Go, and your delicious coffee will be ready for your arrival!

What’s coffee without a little sweet treat? Our coffee cakes come in multiple flavors: Blueberry Walnut Coffee Cake, Berry Butter Coffee Cake, and Cinnamon Coffee Cake. Any of these morning coffee cakes are the perfect pairing for your morning cup o’ Joe.
