With Small Business Saturday coming up this November 27, we’re highlighting some of our favorite small businesses and highly encouraging you to shop local in your own community.
Why you should shop local
It helps build a stronger community. When you shop locally, you’re not just supporting a small business: you’re supporting your family, your friends, and your neighbors. The people that own these small businesses are the people you see around town and send holiday cards to. When you purchase from local businesses, it helps the business stay alive and thrive. In turn, these businesses help improve the neighborhood and build a more vibrant community by offering high-quality products and services. Plus, small businesses add character to the local landscape!
It strengthens the local economy. When you put forth an effort to shop locally, you’re strengthening the local economy.
